Abstract
Currently, the factor of healthy nutrition is recognized as one of the key components of the WHO general strategy, according to which 60% of the causes of death in people are directly related to nutritional problems. The food formula of the 21st century - is the constant use of products with desired properties (functional foods) and biologically active food supplements, along with traditional natural foods in the consumption.
The purpose of the study: toxicological assessment of powder of wheat shoots after intragastric administration of the estimated toxic dose to laboratory animals, followed by observation during the experiment to identify clinical signs of intoxication.
Materials and research methods. The materials for the study were wheat shoots "MAYSARA", white outbred sexually mature rats of both sexes and 2 rabbits. In the conducted studies were used: microbiological and toxicological methods.
