CORONAVIRUS INFECTION AND CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

Abstract

Coronavirus pandemic the recently emerged ongoing coronavirus infection (COVID-19) pandemic has spread to almost the entire world. With all the severity of the COVID-19 problem, mortality rates from this disease cannot be compared with mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases (CVD), which remain the main cause of death of the population.
