Abstract
The main task of the genealogical method is to study the nature of the distribution of hereditary traits in the family. Genealogical analysis of pedigrees serves as the basis for medical and genetic counseling, that is, resolving the issue of the risk of having patients in a family burdened with hereditary diseases.
