Abstract
Several studies have shown that different clinical signs, patient age, and joint diseases may also be important in understanding the severity of the disease. Although the clinical features of COVID-19 have been extensively described, the assessment of changes in the most common biochemical markers reported in patients with COVID-19 is still poorly established. Here, we provide data on clinical and blood biochemical analyzes of 84 patients with COVID-19 and 94 patients without COVID-19. Upper airway samples were taken from patients, and real-time PCR was used to confirm SARS-CoV-2 infection. Gender, age, clinical signs, and biochemical analysis of patients were studied. Biochemical parameters were classified and analyzed according to the following clinical signs: Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (ACT), creatinine, uric acid, urea, glucose, albumin, total protein, glycated hemoglobin, bilirubin, total cholesterol.
